Swasthya Swaraj Society (SSS) is seeking an Associate Director with a strong commitment to social impact and a drive to lead meaningful change. This senior executive role is ideal for someone passionate about using their expertise in administration, finance, fundraising, and public relations to support equitable healthcare in underserved communities.

Role Overview:
The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in strategic leadership, ensuring efficient operations, financial health, and sustainable growth at Swasthya Swaraj Society. This individual will work closely with the executive team to maintain high standards of accountability, transparency, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration & Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning across departments and aligning activities with the organisation’s mission.
  • Financial Management: Lead budgeting, financial planning, and compliance to support Swasthya Swaraj’s financial sustainability.
  • Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Develop and execute fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and enhance public support for Swasthya Swaraj’s initiatives.
  • Public Relations & Advocacy: Build and maintain the organisation’s reputation, foster media relationships, and champion advocacy efforts in line with our mission.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and empower staff to foster a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally in the development or healthcare sector
  • Strong background in finance, fundraising, and strategic planning
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Passion for social impact and an understanding of the unique challenges in rural healthcare
  • Ability to lead with integrity, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
